Obama's bracket of White House picks was made public. Obama's bracket is President Obama's 2010 NCAA Tournament predictions, and it is something that he started doing last year to show which teams he thought would advance and win the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Obama's bracket (as it has become known) has been quite popular already, but it may not find many fans over here in Spokane, Washington. According to Obama's bracket, Gonzaga will lose to Florida State in the first round of the 2010 NCAA Tournament.
Obama Bracket Gonzaga is the eighth seed in the 2010 NCAA Tournament, and will take on Florida State on Friday, March 19th. The winner of the Gonzaga-Florida state game will take on the winner of No. 1 seeded Syracuse and Vermont on Sunday, March 21st. President Obama didn't even talk about that first round game during his conversation with ESPN, but rather glossed over it to Florida State losing to Syracuse in the round of 32. Now Spokane college basketball fans really want President Obama to be wrong in his 2010 NCAA Tournament predictions.
Looking through the rest of President Obama's brackets, he has a Final Four of Villanova, Kansas State, Kentucky, and Kansas. From those teams he has Kansas beating Kentucky for the 2010 College Basketball National Championship. Those final two picks are pretty safe ones, with absolutely no risk involved, as those are the top two ranked teams in college basketball. In fact, the only No. 1 or No. 2 seed that Obama doesn't have in the final eight is the No. 3 seeded Georgetown Hoyas whom he predicts will beat Ohio State.
